Understanding the Mobile (In-Home) Rate
In-home counselling includes the time, travel, and logistical coordination required to provide professional clinical support in your own environment. For clients navigating illness, mobility challenges, or caregiving demands, this option reduces the physical and emotional burden of travel and allows support to take place in a familiar and secure setting.

Caregiver & Support Network Sessions
Caregiver and support network sessions are arranged directly with me to determine structure, length, and fees based on the number of participants and the nature of the conversation.
Because these sessions vary significantly in scope, preparation, and complexity, pricing is discussed in advance to ensure clarity and fit.

Professional Consultation & Education
I also offer consultation, facilitated conversations, and educational presentations for long-term care homes, assisted living environments, and care organizations.
Organizational work is offered by arrangement and structured based on the needs, size, and context of the organization. Fees are discussed directly.

Insurance & Coverage (RSW Status)
Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance provider or employee benefit plan. As a Registered Social Worker (RSW) in New Brunswick, my services are covered by many extended health benefits plans that include Social Work or Clinical Social Work.
Please note that I do not currently offer direct billing to insurance providers.

Payment and Receipts
Payment is due at the time of the session, prior to the session start. This ensures that our time together is fully focused on the work itself, without interruption for administrative tasks.
Payment methods:
Once payment is received, you will be issued an electronic receipt marked “Paid,” which includes my MSW/RSW registration number for insurance reimbursement.
Invoices are issued only for payments that are late or outstanding.

Cancellation and No-Show Policy
When a session is booked, that time is reserved exclusively for you. Because in-home counselling involves travel and time coordination, and virtual sessions reserve a dedicated appointment slot, advance notice is required.
I maintain a 24-hour cancellation policy for all scheduled sessions. Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged the full session fee.
